Hi! My name is Sydney!

 

I am a biologist with a focus in ecology and evolution and a background in education and writing!

 

This website was initially a place for my art that I made in college. I figured instead of making a new website for my writing, I would add it here.

My writing is mostly technical, from classes and work, focusing on conveying topics as simply as possible. Many are for audiences of elementary schooler's as well. 

 

I studied photography in college, though I have always enjoyed it. I photograph the people and places around me and enjoy shooting with both film and digital cameras.

Painting has also always been a casual hobby of mine throughout the years. I focused on it and ceramics through much of my younger school days.
